Billing Terms

What you'll be charged, when you'll be charged, and how.

When you are charged

Your payment is taken in full at the point of checkout, immediately after you confirm your order on the Stripe-hosted checkout page. We do not pre-authorise or hold funds — the charge is final at the moment of purchase.

If a payment fails (insufficient funds, declined card, expired card), no order is created and you will not be charged.

Accepted payment methods

We accept all major debit and credit cards through Stripe, including:

  • Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover
  • Apple Pay (Safari and iOS)
  • Google Pay (Chrome and Android)
  • Klarna and Clearpay — where eligible, on qualifying UK orders

We do not accept bank transfer, cheque, cash, cryptocurrency, or PayPal at this time.

Currency

All prices are displayed and charged in:

  • GBP (£) for customers visiting from the United Kingdom
  • USD ($) for customers in the United States and the rest of the world

The currency you see on the product page is the currency you will be charged. Your card issuer may apply its own foreign-transaction fee — this is set by your bank, not by us.

Sales tax & VAT

  • UK orders: prices are inclusive of UK VAT (20%) where applicable. A VAT receipt is available on request from help@cosmoclinix.com.
  • US orders: prices are exclusive of state sales tax. Where required, sales tax is calculated and added at checkout based on your delivery address (via Stripe Tax).
  • All other countries: prices are exclusive of import duties or local taxes, which are payable by the recipient on delivery.

What appears on your card statement

Charges will appear on your statement as either:

  • COSMOCLINIX, or
  • COSMOCLINIX *AMIR ENTERPRISE

If you don't recognise a charge, please email help@cosmoclinix.com before raising a chargeback. We respond within 24 hours and can typically resolve any query without involving your card issuer.

Subscribe & Save (recurring billing)

If you choose our Subscribe & Save option at checkout, the following terms apply:

  1. Your first payment is taken immediately at checkout.
  2. Subsequent payments are taken automatically every 30 days thereafter, using the same card.
  3. The 20% subscriber discount applies to every renewal, not just the first.
  4. Shipping is free on every renewal.
  5. You can pause, skip or cancel at any time, free of charge, by emailing help@cosmoclinix.com. Cancellations must be received at least 24 hours before your next scheduled renewal.
  6. We will email you a renewal reminder 3 days before each shipment.
  7. If a renewal payment fails, we will retry up to 3 times over 7 days before pausing your subscription.

You can request a refund for an unwanted subscription renewal within 14 days of the charge — we honour all UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 protections for distance subscriptions.

Promotional codes

  • Discount codes are non-transferable and have no cash value.
  • Only one promotional code may be applied per order.
  • Codes can be withdrawn or modified at any time.
  • Codes do not apply to shipping charges unless explicitly stated.

Refunds

Refunds are returned to your original payment method — we cannot refund to a different card or to store credit.

Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please email help@cosmoclinix.com before filing a chargeback with your card issuer. We respond to all billing queries within 24 hours and prefer to resolve disputes directly.

If a chargeback is filed, we reserve the right to provide Stripe and the card issuer with all relevant order documentation (delivery confirmation, communications, IP, billing address verification) to contest illegitimate claims.

Payment security

We are PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant through our payment processor, Stripe. We never see, store, or transmit your full card number, CVV, or expiry date — these are handled exclusively by Stripe's hosted checkout and tokenisation system.

Our checkout pages run on HTTPS with TLS 1.3 encryption.

Failed payments

If your card is declined at checkout:

  1. Verify your card details and try again.
  2. Try a different payment method (Apple Pay / Klarna often succeed where cards fail).
  3. Contact your card issuer — declines are most often due to a fraud-prevention flag they can lift in 30 seconds.

If a recurring subscription payment fails, we will email you and retry. You can update your card at any time via the link in that email.
